Dave performs and records in a wide range of situations -- from duos to full bands -- in genres running the gamut from roots rock to country,  blues/R&B,  swing,  jazz.  He has played and recorded with many of the best acts in the DC area as well as with a host of national acts.   Use the information below to contact him.

Dave Chappell & Friends
Dave plays guitar and sings in Dave Chappell & Friends. A four piece unit that covers a huge patch of musical ground -- performing rock, blues, swing, jazz, country and more depending on the particular requirements of the venue or private event. Dave along with Bruce Swaim on tenor sax, Claude Arthur on bass, and Barry Hart on drums perform every other Tuesday at JVs in Falls Church, VA. and at a variety of other venues around the D.C./Baltimore area.

The Swinging Daves
Together, Dave Chappell,  Dave Gingrich, steel guitar, dobro; Dave Elliott, drums and vocals;and Claude "Dave" Arthur, bass and vocals,  form the "Swinging Daves".  A group that plays a host of different styles of music with a bit of extra emphasis on twang. Again,  they cover a lot of muscial ground and the set list can be tailored to the particular requirements of the venue or private event.  The band plays regularly at JVs in Falls Church, VA. at the Cat's Eye Pub in Baltimore and at a variety of other venues around the area.
