Dave performs and records in a wide range of situations from duos to full bands and in styles running the gamut from roots rock, country,  blues/R&B,  swing,  to jazz.  He has played and recorded with many of the best acts in the DC area as well as with a host of national acts.   Use the information below to contact him.

Dave Chappell & Friends
Dave plays guitar and sings in "Dave Chappell & Friends". Along with Bruce Swaim on tenor sax, Claude Arthur on bass, and Barry Hart on drums, this four piece unit covers a huge variety of musical ground from rock, blues, swing, jazz, to country and more depending on the venue or private event. Dave Chappell and Friends  perform regularly at JVs in Falls Church, VA, and at a variety of other venues around the D.C./Baltimore area.

The Swinging Daves
Together, Dave Chappell,  Dave Geigerich on steel guitar, dobro, Dave Elliott on drums and vocals, and Claude "Dave" Arthur on bass and vocals  form the "Swinging Daves".  The Swinging Daves play a host of different styles of music with a bit of extra emphasis on twang. Again,  they cover a lot of musical ground and the set list can be tailored to the particular requirements of the venue or private event.  The band plays regularly at JVs in Falls Church, VA, the Cat's Eye Pub in Baltimore and a variety of other venues around the DC metropolitan area.
